Social Mobility Programmes

Creating opportunities for everyone

Levelling the playing field for learning and employment opportunities

althaus is committed to advancing social mobility by empowering individuals from all demographics, and fostering inclusion and diversity to ensure that both individuals and employers have the skills needed to thrive.

We believe that everyone should have the right to learn, and there is a wealth of talent out there, just waiting to be discovered.

We are working with veterans, ex-offenders, children in residential care, residents of community housing associations, women in tech, and other marginalised groups to develop bespoke programmes to match skills needs, and help to bridge the UK’s tech and digital skills gap.

Programme delivery can also be tailored to the unique needs of the participants, with face-to-face, live online or blended learning methods available.

We also offer bespoke training solutions – please get in touch with the team to discuss your requirements.

Delivery methods and success criteria

At althaus, we know that everyone has different learning styles and needs, and we believe that programming should be tailored to individuals to give them the best opportunity to engage with the information and retain knowledge for future success.

Each of our Social Mobility Programmes can be delivered in a variety of formats – from face-to-face to online; from shorter sessions (e.g. 30-45 minutes) to longer half-day sessions. We will work with you to determine the most appropriate delivery method for participants.

Core to the assessment criteria of every programme is the participant’s attendance rate, engagement, and completion of the course. Each course may also have its own individual criteria that must be met, but in every case, participants will be guided through practical, interactive exercises that best engage them and ensure that skills are immediately applicable post-training.
