Our aim is to unleash the digital leaders of tomorrow by equipping our learners with the powerful combination of technical skills and leadership abilities they need to maximise their growth and realise their potential.
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive IT and Network Engineering training programs to learners. Topics will include networking protocols, network security, server management, system configurations, troubleshooting, and more.
Create training materials, guides, and documentation that cater to various learning styles and skill levels. Continuously update training content to reflect the latest technologies, industry standards, and organisational needs.
Conduct practical, hands-on workshops and simulations to help learners master real-world IT and networking scenarios.
Assess trainee progress through evaluations, quizzes, and practical assessments. Provide feedback and follow-up support to ensure learning goals are met.
Offer ongoing mentorship and technical support to learners as they apply their training in the field or try to secure a new role.
Ensure all IT and networking projects and services meet company quality standards. Conduct regular internal audits to monitor processes, performance, and adherence to best practices.
Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, producing detailed reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with team leaders and managers to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Evaluate current systems and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness, recommending enhancements as required.
Educate employees on internal quality standards and practices, ensuring they understand the importance of maintaining high standards in their work.
Identify potential risks to quality and performance in IT operations and recommend mitigation strategies.
Proven experience in IT and network engineering (at least 3-5 years), with hands-on knowledge of networking protocols, server management, troubleshooting, and system configurations.
Prior experience in training or mentoring IT learners, preferably in a further education training capacity.
Experience in quality assurance processes and conducting internal audits, preferably in an IT environment.
Strong understanding of networking technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routers, switches).
Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Knowledge of IT best practices, including ITIL, cybersecurity, and system administration.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
CompTIA Network+ or equivalent.
ITIL Foundation or similar quality assurance certifications.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid role and will require travel to Derby (East Midlands) at least 2 days per month.
