We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Administrator Apprentice to support our Apprenticeship and Bootcamp functions. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our funded provisions by handling administrative tasks, coordinating learner records, and supporting internal teams. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Your Role as Administrator Apprentice…

Reporting into the Head of Learner Engagement, you will provide administrative support to the Apprenticeship and Digital Bootcamp teams. You’ll also:

• Maintain accurate records of learner information, ensuring compliance with internal policies.

• Assist in processing enrolment forms and learner documentation.

• Support the scheduling and coordination of meetings and events.

• Respond to learner and employer queries, ensuring timely and professional communication.

• Manage digital records via CRM systems (HubSpot) to ensure easy access to key information.

• Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.

• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and key documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

• Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

What We’re Looking For…

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within an administrative role.
  • An IAG qualification or willingness to work towards one.

What to expect during the interview process:

We want to ensure you’re the right fit for us, and that we’re the right fit for you! Our process is designed to be relaxed yet insightful:

Stage 1: A 30-minute Teams call with our Head of Learner Engagement – this is all about fit and feel.
Stage 2: An in-person interview at our office with our Talent Team and a panel. This stage will also include a fun and interactive interview activity to showcase your skills in action.

This role is based at our Head Office in Derby 5 days per week, therefore the successful candidate must be based in Derby or surrounding areas.

You will be enrolled on to the Level 3 Business Admin apprenticeship with Juniper Training as part of this role.

At althaus, safeguarding is at the core of what we do. This role may involve working with children and vulnerable adults, and references and DBS checks will be required as part of our safer recruitment process.
