Digital Marketing Bootcamp

Why did you choose to do a Bootcamp?

I chose to do a Bootcamp because I wanted to learn more skills and stay up to date with industry trends, to make me more valuable to potential employers. I also wanted the opportunity to network with other people in the field, and related professions in the wider industry.

What was the onboarding process like?

The onboarding process was simple, especially since everything was online. We had a great tutor who organised and explained all the learning material really clearly. They also made sure to acknowledge our effort and growth throughout the course, which was nice and encouraging.

How did you find the training delivered and what support did you get?

The training was great. Our tutor was really knowledgeable and supportive, and they made sure everyone understood the course material, answering any questions that came up. Everyone attending the Bootcamp was just as friendly and helpful.

What was your favourite thing about the Bootcamp? What skills did you gain?

My favourite thing about the Bootcamp was being able to get to know other people with similar interests, different backgrounds, and learn their reasoning for doing the Bootcamp. I learned a lot of things that I made sure to add to my CV, like digital marketing strategies and how to implement them. It was all really helpful.

What did you find most challenging within the Bootcamp?

There was a lot of information to absorb in a short space of time, especially since I was completing the Bootcamp alongside a full-time university course.

What advice would you give to anyone considering a Bootcamp?

I would say go for it. It’s a really positive experience, you get to learn new skills. You have nothing to lose, and you’ll gain a lot of interesting new knowledge, skills, and experience that’s great for your CV.

How has the Bootcamp supported your career progression?

As a graphic design student, it’s going to help me stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and strategies, which is important in today’s market. It can also help me stand out to potential employers and give me more career options alongside my other qualifications.
