  • Coach and support apprentices to overcome challenges, stay motivated, and achieve their learning and workplace goals.

  • Monitor progress against key milestones, including portfolio development, project work, and preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA).

  • Provide constructive feedback on apprentices’ work and performance, helping them link theoretical knowledge to practical application.

  • Liaise with employers, trainers, and internal delivery teams to ensure a joined-up approach to learner development.

  • Stay up to date with current IT trends and tools to ensure mentoring reflects current industry practice.

  • Champion Althaus’s core values: Taking Ownership, Bridging the Digital Divide, Embracing the Future, and Unlocking Potential.

An enthusiastic mentor with a willingness to get the best out of people. Motivational and passionate about digital marketing, who engages learners both physically and virtually from all age ranges. You will know your learners on an individual level to be able to develop and progress their careers. Aiming not only for learners to pass their apprenticeship but to be setting high professional standards. You will act as an inspirational role model for what they can become.

  • Strong knowledge mentoring learners on the L3 IT Solutions Technician, L3 ICT and L4 Network Engineer Standards.
  • Passion for developing others through coaching, mentoring, or line management experience (formal teaching qualifications not required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and motivate learners.
  • Empathetic, patient, and learner-focused approach.
