We’re looking for an inspiring Data Analytics Trainer to join our growing delivery team. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging, hands-on training across Level 3 and Level 4 Data programmes, primarily in a virtual learning environment. Occasionally, you’ll also lead face-to-face sessions, bringing your expertise directly to learners.
You won’t just be a trainer, you’ll be a mentor and motivator, helping learners apply their skills to real-world scenarios, build professional confidence, and evidence their achievements through projects and portfolios.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Curriculum, Quality, and Delivery teams to continuously evolve how we teach and assess, ensuring every learner experience is dynamic, inclusive, and impactful.
Deliver the Level 3 Data Technician and Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship programmes.
Support learners through one-to-one coaching, mentoring, and progress reviews.
Create and adapt lesson plans and learning materials that reflect current industry practice.
Build an interactive, inclusive learning environment that inspires curiosity and confidence.
Work collaboratively to review and enhance curriculum content and delivery methods.
Track learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
Contribute to Althaus’s culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of delivery.

Passion for data and technology and the ability to communicate that enthusiasm to others.
Strong teaching, coaching, or mentoring background (in-person or virtual).
Experience helping learners progress through structured training or apprenticeship programmes.
Excellent communication, organisation, and people skills.
A collaborative, adaptable mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
Essential:
Level 4 Teaching qualification (or equivalent such as PGCE, CertEd, QTS)
OR working towards a Level 3+ teaching qualification
Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent)
Relevant industry experience (minimum 2 years) in Data Analytics or related fields
Desirable:
Assessors qualification (CAVA / A1 or equivalent)
Additional technical certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.)

📍 This is a hybrid role – you’ll be based remotely with travel to Derby (East Midlands) at least once per month.
