Step into a role where no two days are the same. As a Business Support Apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of Althaus Digital, ensuring our educational programmes run smoothly and learners have the support they need to thrive.
This isn’t about coffee runs or photocopying — it’s about hands-on experience, problem-solving, and contributing to a growing business. You’ll support both bootcamp and apprenticeship programmes while developing essential skills in administration, organisation, and learner engagement.

Book and Coordinate Exams
Schedule and coordinate exams for learners
Communicate logistics clearly with learners and invigilators
System Setup
Support setup and maintenance of systems for bootcamps and apprenticeships
Troubleshoot and assist learners with technical issues
Apprenticeships Attendance Tracking
Monitor and track learner attendance
Follow up and provide support for attendance-related issues
Updating and Maintaining Learner Records
Accurately input and maintain learner data and progress
New Starts Onboarding
Assist with onboarding new learners, including welcome emails and compliance checks
Provide guidance and support during the onboarding process
Creating Schedules
Develop schedules for bootcamps and apprenticeship programmes
Ensure schedules are communicated effectively
Driving Learner Progression
Track learner progress and maintain accurate progress records
Build relationships through regular communication
Respond promptly to internal and external enquiries
Additional Responsibilities
Support office maintenance and general enquiries
Take a digital-first approach whenever possible

GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent in English and Maths
High standards of personal integrity and professional conduct
Confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders
Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR
IT literate and comfortable with digital tools

This is a hybrid role and may require travel to Derby at least once a month.
We want to ensure you’re the right fit for us, and that we’re the right fit for you! Our process is designed to be relaxed yet insightful:
Stage 1: A 30-minute Teams call with our Head of Delivery– this is all about fit and feel.
Stage 2: An in-person interview at our office with our Delivery Team and panel. This stage may also include am interactive interview activity to showcase your skills in action.
Please note this is an office based role, 5 days per week in the Derby HQ.
Qualification: Level 3 or 4 Business Administrator Duration: 16 – 19 months
