The Role…
To train, mentor, and motivate learners to become the digital leaders of the future by harnessing knowledge the apprentice already possesses and forging this into skills they can apply within the workplace. You will be training our learners on the IT Solutions Technician Apprenticeship (Level 3), Information Communication Technician (Level 3)Network Engineering (Level 4).
The focus is to not only mentor apprentices to a point where they can achieve their End Point Assessment, but develop them in to become integral members of their wider working team and ultimately become future leaders.
What you can expect in an IT Trainer role at althaus:
We are seeking applicants who meet the following criteria:
The ideal candidate will hold a L4 equivalent or above IT qualification in Network or alternatively vendor certifications to back up their knowledge level as the course content is very technical.
They will also have experience delivering the apprenticeship standards (ICTL3 and NEL4) would also be hugely beneficial so they are familiar with the standard and content of the training.
An enthusiastic mentor with a willingness to get the best out of people. Motivational and passionate about digital marketing, cyber security, software development or IT solutions, who engages learners both physically and virtually from all age ranges
You will know your learners on an individual level to be able to develop and progress their careers. Aiming not only for learners to pass their apprenticeship but to be setting high professional standards. You will act as an inspirational role model for what they can become.
We expect all staff to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes great customer service to build a long-standing relationship. The role will include regional travel to meet the needs of our apprentice’s location and business requirements.

This is a hybrid role and will require travel to Derby (East Midlands) for meetings at least 2 days per month.
